PUTING LOVE BACK INTO CHRISTMAS
5th October 2006 at Colonnades Shopping Centre
Over 100 people, both young & old enjoyed the activities of making christmas decorations.
The purpose of the event is to show that the things we make ourselves are more precious than anything
we can purchase. This was evident by the smiles on everyone's face as they made their decorations from recycled
material.
The interaction between young and old said it all. A great day was had by all.
Santa was very busy with little ones as well as big ones listening to their special Christmas wishes
and giving out lollies.
One little girl asked Santa to come to her birthday party, another enquired "Why are you so early, Santa"
Santa had to do some quick thinking!
We need to acknowledge Uniting Care Wesley Adelaide Christies Beach Office & partners for this special
initiative.
Congratulations go to all for their hard work for this event and to the commencement of a wonderful
beginning to the Christmas season!
Count down is on for next year.
